How to Know Love
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:8

Prayer is simply talking to God—sharing your heart honestly and reverently. Don’t let that word ‘reverently’ scare you; it just means coming to Him with due respect.
▶ How to Start a Conversation with God/Love
If you aren't sure what to say, don't worry. It’s not complicated. God isn't looking for a flawless, poetic performance—He just wants to hear from you. You can start talking to Him right now using these three simple steps:
1. Acknowledge Him
Begin by thanking Him for Who He is and for the lavish, unconditional love He has for you. You don't need fancy religious words; just simply say, "God, thank You for loving me and for being right here with me."
2. Be honest
Be completely honest. Tell Him exactly what you are going through today—whether it is a heavy worry, an insecurity, a mistake you've made, or something you are celebrating. He already knows your heart, so you don't have to hide anything or pretend to have it all together.
3. Ask and Listen
Ask Him for what you need—whether that is peace, wisdom, courage or the strength to get through the day. Once you've asked, give yourself a moment of quiet. Prayer is a two-way conversation. Silence your mind, rest in His peace, and expect Him to guide your heart. While you are waiting to hear, pull up a Bible app on your phone. God speaks through His word.

A — Admit You are a Sinner
Be completely honest before a holy God. You can neither shock nor surprise Him. Admit that you are a sinner; you have run your own life and fallen short of His perfect standard. In the Bible, this is called repentance—which simply means a broken-hearted decision to turn away from your sin and surrender to God’s authority.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. — Romans 3:23
B — Believe in Jesus as Your Savior
Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross to pay the price for your sins, and that He rose from the dead to give you eternal life. You can’t earn it nor can you clean yourself up to qualify for it—it is a sovereign, free gift of grace. This is what it means to be born again and saved from eternal damnation.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved... — Acts 16:31
C — Confess Jesus as Lord
Openly declare that Jesus is Lord—the absolute authority over your life. This means surrendering your plans, your future, and your identity to His perfect will. It also demands surrendering your opinions, thoughts and ideas to the absolute truth of His word—making the Word of God your final, undisputed authority.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. — Romans 10:9

God’s family is beautifully diverse. Jesus didn't redeem a single race; He came to save every tribe, language, people, and nation. We celebrate our God-given differences, ethnicity and culture. You have a unique, indispensable, and valuable role to play in the Kingdom of God.
Known by Love
When a diverse group of people—divided by backgrounds, opinions, and cultures—stands united in the authority of the Word and love for one another, it’s a supernatural witness to the world. Our supernatural unity is the greatest apologetic we possess. It proves that the Gospel is real and that Jesus changes hearts. The church is branded by love.
Loved by God. Hated by the World
This is not an attempt to interrupt your celebration, but a sober warning so you are not blindsided. You have an active enemy, the devil, who is enraged by your surrender to Christ. Warfare is inevitable. Do not be shaken when the culture turns against you. Jesus promised: If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. - John 15:18
