Valarie Williams

Songwriter

Valarie Williams is an accomplished songwriter, music industry professional, and worshipper. With decades of songwriting experience, Valarie draws deep inspiration from Scripture—particularly the Psalms—to create heartfelt worship songs. Writing across a broad musical spectrum that includes Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Southern Gospel, and Country, her distinctive style seamlessly blends gospel-inspired emotion with faith-centered storytelling, reflecting deeply personal and resonant life experiences.

Valarie has a catalog of over 40 scripture-based worship songs that glorify Jesus. Her arrangements are purposefully congregationally friendly—designed to be engaging and easy for people to sing along with.

By pairing memorable melodies with deep theological truths, she invites believers to move past outward distractions and enter into heartfelt adoration of Jesus. Whether stripped down for an intimate acoustic setting or fully produced for a large worship band, these tracks remain highly adaptable for ministry teams of any size. Her songs naturally foster authentic encounters within corporate worship spaces. Ultimately, Valarie’s goal is to equip the global Church with powerful, spiritually grounded songs that allow the word of Christ to dwell richly in the hearts of worshippers.

A native of Atlanta, Valarie has called the Nashville area home for over two decades. Her ministry footprint includes serving on the worship team and as an assistant LifeGroup leader at New Song Nashville from 2002 to 2015. At New Song, she penned “Worship You Alone”—an original track adopted into the congregation’s regular Sunday rotation. Valarie continued her ministry at Bethel Murfreesboro from 2015 to 2022, contributing to the worship team and serving as a LifeGroup leader with her husband.

Complementing her ministry background, Valarie brings more than 16 years of corporate music industry expertise to her craft. She served as a Field Rep, Gospel Marketing Manager, and Regional Marketing Manager for powerhouse labels including Mercury Records, Universal, and Word Entertainment.
